Welcome to Heritage High School's production of The Addams Family! It is with great joy that we invite you into the delightfully spooky world of one of America’s most iconic families. From their beginnings as a single-panel cartoon to countless film and television adaptations, the Addamses have captured the hearts of audiences for generations. Their eccentric charm, dark humor, and unwavering loyalty to one another make them instantly recognizable and endlessly entertaining.At its core, The Addams Family Musical is much more than a playful romp through cobwebs and graveyards. Beneath the laughter and the ghoulish gags lies a story about love, acceptance, and the ties that bind families together. Whether it’s Gomez trying to balance honesty and devotion, Morticia holding the family together with elegance and wit, or Wednesday discovering her own path toward love, the themes are timeless and universal. We can all relate to the idea of families learning to embrace change, celebrate differences, and hold fast to what matters most.I am so proud of this cast, crew, and creative team. They have embraced the challenge of honoring these beloved characters while making them their own, and their hard work shines through in every detail of this production.Thank you for joining us and for supporting the arts here at Heritage High School. We hope tonight’s performance reminds you—whether your family is spooky, kooky, or somewhere in between—that when it comes to family, it’s perfectly normal to be a little abnormal!

Gomez Addams

Andrew Briseño (12)

Andrew Briseño (Gomez Addams): Drew is a senior at Heritage. He has been a part of Mean Girls, Into the Woods, Legally Blonde, Peter and the Starcatcher, and Shrek the Musical. He has also been in Almost, Maine as well as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee with Intentions Acting Studio and is the current Improv General for the Rising Stars. He would like to thank his parents for everything, Mrs. Moore for this opportunity, and all of you for coming to see the show!

Jordin LaRussa (12)

Jordin La Russa (Morticia Addams): Jordin is a senior at Heritage. She has been a part of Much Ado About Nothing, Mean Girls, Into The Woods, Legally Blonde, Peter and The Starcatcher, and Shrek. She has also been a part of Almost, Maine and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee with Intentions Acting Studio. Jordin is the current President of Rising Stars as well as a Director and Actress in the upcoming Senior Show, Hadestown. She would like to thank everyone who worked to make this production possible!

Andrew Strong (Fester Addams): Andrew is a senior at Heritage. He has been apart of Much Ado About Nothing, Mean Girls, Legally Blonde, Peter and the Starcatcher, and Shrek. He has also been apart of Almost, Maine and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee with Intentions Acting Studio. He would like to thank his wonderful parents and siblings.

Keeley Reed (12)

Keeley is a senior at Heritage this year and is the current Secretary for Rising Stars. She has been apart of Mean Girls, Into the Woods, Legally Blonde, Peter and the Starcatcher, and Shrek. She would like to thank her parents and all her family and friends for their constant love and support.

Leila Slavick (10)

Leila Slavick (Wednesday Addams) - Leila is a Sophomore at Heritage and has been performing since the age of 7. She had a great time being cast in “Shrek” her Freshman year. She has also enjoyed being a part of the Heritage Improv Team for the past two years. She would like to thank her family and you for joining and hope you enjoy the show.

Alec Gordovez (9)

Alec is a freshman at Heritage this year and is so excited to be in his first production! He went to Adams Middle School where he was involved in their A.C.T Program in their productions of Little Mermaid Jr, Newsies Jr, and Willy Wonka Jr. He would like to thank all cast, crew and adults who were involved in making this show be the best it could be! Alec would also like to thank his family and friends for always being there, picking him up from rehearsal very late and showing up to these shows!

Aidan is a senior at Heritage High school, and this is his first official production. He would like to thank his parents for being so supportive and his Waterpolo Coach John who allowed him to be apart of the waterpolo team while still doing this production.

Marni Greth (Alice Beineke): Marni is a senior at Heritage. She has been a part of Into the Woods, Mean Girls and Shrek. She would like to thank her family.

Luke is a Junior at Heritage High School. He has been a part of many previous shows here including Into the Woods and Peter and the Starcatcher among others. He would like to thank his friends for making theater so much fun

Cian Hansen (Ancestor/Understudy): Cian is a junior at Heritage! He has been a part of cast in both Peter and the Starcatcher and Shrek. He is the current treasurer of Rising Stars. He would like to thank his friends and family for their endless support!

Gabby Harrington (12)

Gabby Harrington is a senior at Heritage. She has been apart of many shows such as Much Ado About Nothing, Mean Girls, and Into the Woods on crew. She has also been in Legally Blonde, Peter and the Star-catcher, and Shrek on cast. Over summer she was in Chicago with Ghostlight Theatre Ensemble. She is the current Activities Director of Rising Stars Council. Gabby would like to thank her friend Colby for always being there for her.

Nathan Penner (Ancestor) Nathan is starting his junior year at Heritage and has been in previous shows such as Into the Woods and Legally Blonde. He has also Participated in Chicago with Ghostlight Teen Academy. He is currently on council as Paper PR and would like to thank his friends and family for supporting him.

Colby Arnold (Ancestor/Grandma Understudy): Colby is a Senior at Heritage! She has been on cast of Mean Girls, Legally Blonde, and Peter and the Starcatcher. She has also been in Almost Maine & The 25th Anual Putnam County Spelling Bee with Intentions Acting Studio. She additionally was in Ghostlight's production of Chicago. She is currently the Historian for the Rising Stars club. She would like to thank Jordin La Russa for ALWAYS matching her freak and being the Queen Diva Slay Bestie who never fails to be the sunshine on Colby's rainy day. (;

Suri is a sophomore at Heritage. She has been apart of productions such as: Peter and the Starcatcher, Shrek the Musical, and The Little Mermaid Jr. at Addams Middle School and is currently the Social Media Manager of Rising Stars! She would like to thank Taylor Swift for announcing “The Life of a Showgirl” right before tech week, and Sabrina Carpenter for releasing her new album during tech week.

Cassie is a senior at Heritage. She has been part of crew for Into the Woods and PATS, and cast for Legally Blonde and Shrek as well as A Chorus Line with Ghostlight Theatre Ensemble and Chicago. She has also done 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee with Intentions Acting Studio. She would like to thank her mom, dad, sister, and voice teacher Heather Sandberg.

Uma is a senior at Heritage. They have been a part of ‘Into the Woods’, ‘Legally Blonde’, ‘Peter and the Starcatcher’ and ‘Shrek’. Theo LaBute is a freshman at Heritage High School, this is his first musical here but he has done other productions like Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Newsies, and in Willy Wonka as Willy Wonka at Adam’s Middle School. He is also in the Improv group and is in other ensembles in Arts program at Heritage. He would love to thank his parents and family for supporting him through his life and acting journey.

Carmel Knight is a Junior at Heritage High School and this is her fourth show with Rising Stars. She is currently the club's webmaster and wrote this into the website herself. Over the summer she participated in Ghostlight's Chicago the musical as cast and crew. She wants to thank Bentley K., Jayden L., Mrs. Phillips, and her family.

Anaya Pierre is a junior at Heritage this year. She is currently Assistant Technical Director of the Rising Stars. She has been involved in three shows at Heritage so far, Peter and the Starcatcher, Pippin, and Shrek. Addams family will be her fourth.
